World Class Sprinters Fail Drug Test

Five world renowned Jamaican sprinters have tested positive for banned performance enhancing drugs, the Jamaican Anti-Doping Commission has revealed. These sprinters included world class runner Asafa Powell, who has conquered the Olympics as well as the World Championships; but possibly with the aid of a banned performance enhancing drug. Olympic silver medallist Sherone Simpson also admitted that she had tested positive to a banned stimulant.
This will of course have an effect on not only other athletes but younger teens and athletes who wish to follow in the footsteps of their idols. It also leads us, the British public, to question how genuine the sport world can be and whether or not we can trust athletes today if they believe that the only way that they can win is by performance enhancing drugs.
