Staying Safe in the Sun

Britain is currently experiencing some unprecedented weather. Many of us are keen to get out and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, however, it seems not everybody realises the dangers. Some are overly obsessed with getting a bronzed beach loand will risk not using sun cream to achieve this. Sunburn can cause cancer and is also incredibly painful. It can also cause premature ageing of the skin, blisters and rough, scaly skin. Staying safe in the sun is easy. Wear plenty of high factor sun cream (SPF20-50) and wear a hat to protect your head, as too much sun can cause sunstroke. And importantly, make sure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. These things are really important and will ensure the rest of your summer is enjoyable. Thursday is trip day and the forecast is sunny so remember to protect yourself against the sun. You’ll catch the sun without even realising so don’t fret that perfect tan is on its way!
