NSA Spying Scandal

You’re being watched. You don’t know that you’re being watched, but still, the NSA is monitoring everything you say and do. For many Americans they did not have a clue that they were being monitored and so closely watched and the truth is that there was no reason for them to be so closely monitored. The National Service Agency based in America has finally been caught out unlawfully tapping into phones and various internet services. This huge privacy issue has brought many reliable companies into question as to whether they are truly reliable. Companies such as Google and Facebook are being questioned as to whether they have provided the NSA with information about individuals who do not qualify to be monitored. The companies have of course denied the allegations that have been put on their shoulders but a bigger investigation is being carried out to find out the real truth. The NSA’s reasoning behind this scandal is that they are ‘monitoring for terrorism’. However, is every American a terrorist threat? I don’t think so. Many people believe the NSA is doing the right thing but as we move towards a generation who is reliable on the internet, should anyone have access to everything we do. Would you want someone knowing everything going on in your life, unlawfully? I know I wouldn’t.
