Ever since the first press
conference revealing the Xbox One, there were fears that they wouldn’t do very
well in sales. That fear has become a major reality for Microsoft, as the
PlayStation 4 has stormed ahead of its competitor in sales, so far ahead, that U.S.
retailers have run out of stock. Many gamers will be aware that the Xbox One
has made a dramatic u-turn on their DRM policies, and region locked games,
something that put it generations behind the PlayStation4. A recent survey on Amazon, stated that 80% of
people said they would prefer the PlayStation 4. This huge u-turn has seen the Xbox One nicknamed the
Xbox 180, something Microsoft aren’t happy about, and has led to concerns that
Microsoft may want to try belittle gamers once again, in the near future.
